Where's Tumalo Creek?

map cover pageThe Deschutes Paddle Trail includes the nine largest Cascades Lakes in Deschutes County. Detailed descriptions of the Paddle Trail can be found in the “Deschutes Paddle Trail Cascade Lake Guide”. The Cascades Lake Guide provides mapsof the nine largest Cascades Lakes along with the access points and campgrounds with GPS coordinates as well as the roads to the lakes. The included lakes are Wickiup, Crane Prairie, Cultus, Lava, Hosmer, Elk, Sparks Paulina and East. The Lakes Guide shows the amenities available at each of the lakes and the species of fish to be found in each lake. The Cascades Lakes Guide is distributed at no charge and is available in outdoor shops, visitor’s centers and many bookstores.

Lake Kiosks Thirty kiosks were installed at launch sites on the nine largest Cascades Lakes during 2010. The sites were approved by the Bend/Fort Rock Office of the Deschutes National Forest. Each kiosk contains a detailed map of that lake and information for paddlers.
